A reflection of previous years, and the strong influence of feelings of “nostalgia” that Florencia finds herself presenting in this exhibition. The “Tango” series tries to take the audience to a different place and a different culture. She has respected the colours of the traditional Argentine painting “The Fileteado” and presents a visual artistic representation of Tango. Each one of the paintings reminds her to a different song, so she shares with you the lyrics that inspired her. From the restrictions applied to the dance in the 1970’s to the fashionable re-surfacing of the 1990’s. Tango has survived through time thanks to the spirit of its people, feel their presence and seize their essence through this exhibition.
